Mrs. Mary Deckelman

Fourth Grade Teacher

Mrs. Deckelman earned her Bachelor of Business Administration in Marketing and professional teaching license for grades 1-8 from Cleveland State University. She has been a member of the St. Christopher faculty since 2003. Presently, she teaches fourth grade and is the math teacher for the intermediate grades, four and five. Mrs. Deckelman is the moderator for the Knitting Club and a member of the Liturgy committee. She especially enjoys teaching religion, math, and math to her students.

Mrs. Deckelman and her husband, David, reside in Rocky River and have two sons, David and Brian. Both of her sons attended St. Christopher School and St. Ignatius High School. Mrs. Deckelman enjoys watching sports, knitting, long walks and bike rides to the beach with her husband.

Miss Emily Kerg 

Fourth Grade Teacher

Miss Kerg has a Bachelor of Science in Early Childhood Education from Kent State University. She first joined St. Christopher School as a long-term substitute teacher. Prior to teaching at St. Christopher School, Miss Kerg worked as a title one tutor in Euclid City schools, was a substitute teacher in the Cleveland area, and worked at a before and after school program. She enjoys working with students of all ages and is especially honored to be working at St. Christopher this school year. She is confident that she will help the students achieve academically and religiously.

Miss Kerg lives in Lakewood and attends St. Mark Parish. She enjoys long walks, reading, and sewing quilts in her spare time for family members and friends. She loves to be adventurous and active outdoors, especially in the winter time.
