On Thursday, March 16, 2017 St. Christopher School participated in our 5th annual St. Baldrick's event to raise money for childhood cancer research. Over 30 students including 3 GIRLS shaved their heads. We have raised over $125,000 during the five years that we have had this event.
We honor our two students in maintenance - Shane Haddad and Ryan Walther, and 4 Angels who lost their battle - Anna, Maria, Anthony, and Michael.
The event was filled with Irish excitement including music and dancing. A couple of students shared their gymnastics talents with the group. Ichiban Salon joined us once again to brave the shave.
This cause is dear to our hearts and affects us personally. We all believe strongly in supporting kids with cancer and St. Baldrick’s research for childhood cancer.
