Mr. Raiff has been a teacher, coach, and assistant principal in the Mentor schools for the past 30 years, the last ten years at Mentor high school. Although he retired from Mentor in June, he still wanted to work in a school setting. Having been a middle school teacher for most of his career, he looks forward to working with younger students again. He is very excited to continue his career in an academic excellent school with a strong sense of community, a warm staff, and a catholic environment. He feels the greatest reward as an educator is knowing in some way you had a positive impact on a student's life.
He and his wife Tina, a first grade teacher in Strongsville, will be celebrating 30 years of marriage in October. They have four children, two who will marry this year. He resides in Westlake and is a member of St. Lad's parish. When he is not in school Mr. Raiff enjoys going to the gym, the outdoors, especially hiking and fishing, and playing tennis.
